Mobile Notary Modesto

FAQs

What is a mobile notary, and how does it work?

A mobile notary is a licensed professional who travels to your location to notarize documents. Instead of having to visit a notary office, a mobile notary comes to your home, office, or any other area that’s convenient for you. Schedule an appointment, and the notary will meet you to complete the notarization process.

I can notarize a wide variety of documents, including:

  • Real estate documents (mortgage closings, deeds, etc.)
  • Loan documents (refinancing, home equity loans, etc.)
  • Estate planning documents (wills, trusts, powers of attorney)
  • Personal legal documents (affidavits, permission slips, etc.)
  • I-9 verifications, and more.

If you’re unsure whether your document requires notarization, please don’t hesitate to reach out, and we’ll be happy to assist you.

Scheduling an appointment is easy! Contact us by phone at 209-602-0732 or via email at info@mobilenotarymodesto.com. Alternatively, you can fill out the contact form on our website, and we’ll get back to you promptly to arrange a time and location that works best for you.

No, you should not sign the documents beforehand. The notary must witness your signature in person to verify your identity and ensure you’re signing the document willingly. Please bring your documents unsigned to the appointment.

To verify your identity, you’ll need to bring a valid government-issued photo ID, such as:

  • Driver’s license
  • Passport
  • State ID
  • Military ID

The notary will use this ID to verify that you are who you claim to be before proceeding with the notarization.

A notary is not permitted to offer legal advice or interpret the contents of a document. If you have questions about the legal implications of the papers, it’s best to consult with an attorney before scheduling your notary appointment. I ensure that your documents are properly signed and notarized, but the interpretation is up to you or your legal advisor.

If you miss your scheduled appointment, please get in touch with us as soon as possible to reschedule. I understand that things happen, and i will do our best to accommodate you with an alternative time that fits your schedule.
