Welcome to Diane McCumber Notary Services! By using our website, scheduling appointments, or utilizing our notary services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. These terms govern your access to and use of our website and the services it provides. If you do not agree with these terms, please refrain from using our website or services.

1. Services Provided

Diane McCumber Notary Services offers mobile notary services, including but not limited to:

  • Real estate document notarization
  • Loan signing services
  • Estate planning documents
  • General notary services
  • I-9 verification services
  • Notarization services at jail facilities

Our services are available in Stanislaus County and surrounding areas. All services are subject to availability, and i reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion.

2. Appointment Scheduling and Payment

  • Scheduling: To schedule an appointment, please provide accurate and complete information, including your name, contact details, and the specific service you require.
  • Payment: Payment for services is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed upon. I accept payments via credit card, debit card, and other forms of payment as specified at the time of the appointment. All fees are subject to change based on location, time, and complexity of the service.
  • Travel Fees: Travel fees may apply for mobile notary services depending on your location. These fees will be communicated to you at the time of scheduling.

3.Client Responsibilities

  • Document Accuracy: It is your responsibility to ensure that all documents requiring notarization are complete and accurate before the appointment. I are not responsible for any inaccuracies or omissions in the documents.
  • Identification: You must provide valid government-issued photo identification (e.g., driver’s license, passport) to verify your identity. Failure to provide proper identification will result in the inability to notarize your documents.
  • Signatures: Do not sign documents prior to the appointment. The notary must witness your signature to ensure the validity of the notarization.

4. Notary’s Role and Limitations

A notary’s role is to verify the identity of signers and witness the signing of documents. A notary is not permitted to offer legal advice, interpret documents, or assist with the content or legal implications of any documents. If you require legal advice, consult an attorney.

5. Mobile Notary Service Location and Availability

  • Service Locations: Mobile notary services are available at locations within Stanislaus County and surrounding areas. I offer flexibility in scheduling, but please note that availability may be limited. Appointments must be confirmed prior to the service being rendered.
  • Service Hours: Our business hours are from Monday to Friday, unless otherwise agreed upon. After-hours and weekend services are available upon request but may incur additional charges.

6. Cancellation and Rescheduling

  • Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours before the scheduled time. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee.
  • Late Arrivals: If you are running late for your appointment, please notify us promptly. If you are more than 15 minutes late, the appointment may be rescheduled, and additional fees may apply.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

I value your privacy. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information on how i collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your data as outlined in the Privacy Policy.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • Service Limitation: Diane McCumber Notary Services is not liable for any errors, omissions, or issues related to the documents being notarized. I are not responsible for the legal consequences or validity of any document after it has been notarized.
  • Liability Limitation: Our total liability for any claim, loss, or damage arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific service rendered. I are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Indemnification

By using our services, you agree to indemnify and hold Diane McCumber Notary Services, its officers, employees, agents, and affiliates harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising out of your use of our services or breach of these Terms and Conditions.

10. Termination of Services

I reserve the right to refuse or terminate services at our discretion, including if i believe the terms of this agreement have been violated or if i suspect any fraudulent or illegal activities.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Diane McCumber Notary Services and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content from this website without express permission.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the state of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding related to these Terms and Conditions will be brought in the appropriate courts located in the United States, specifically in California.
